refashion red top

I'm not sure if you remember me wearing an oversized red top last week. After wearing it once, I thought it looks kind of plain and flat, so I had an idea of adding a little sequin pocket so it has some sort of dimension.

thrifted red top ($1, High Point)
Levi's Red Tab (hand-me-down)
Charles and Keith shoes ($3, High Point)
Cotton on bracelet ($2, sale)
Forever 21 ring ($2, sale)

The refashion is really simple, just cut a piece of sequin fabric and machine sew onto the top. I left it unhemed so that it can fray nicely. I remember seeing this idea on a top that someone was wearing, so I copycat the look.

By the way, I just want to thank all of you who left such encouraging comments in my previous post. You really made my day! Hope you have a really wonderful weekend!

50 lovely notes:
